48x60 / $6,000/ Acrylic Palette & Brush / Donation to the Chicago Snowball Gala 2019 Live Auction
The piece is an acrylic made with both, palette and brush. The inspiration for this work of art is that intense euphoria caused by the physical feeling of being by the sea, which makes us all feel like children.
The piece was specifically created to support the work of the Junior Council in the hopes of helping their cause to provide financial support to the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for the Snowball Gala in 2019.
You can find the piece in the online auction and see it in the main event Jan 26th 2019.
Snowball is the Junior Council’s annual black tie gala. Tickets include event entry, live band, entertainment, premium open bar, food tastings from dozens of Chicago’s premier restaurants, and after party entry. All proceeds directly benefit the Lurie Children’s Hospital.
The Junior Council was founded shortly after the establishment of the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AID Program. Our mission is to help provide financial support to the program so as to ensure that children with HIV/AIDS, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to high-quality pediatric healthcare.
